We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are here to help customers through temporary or extended financial hardship. We are suspending service disconnections and waiving new late payment fees through at least May 1. We will be working with customers on a case-by-case basis to establish payment arrangements and identify energy assistance options. We have programs to help.

The Delaware Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) installs energy efficiency improvements in the homes of low-income persons and households to reduce their energy burden, lower their energy costs and improve their health and safety in the home. The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Energy & Climate administers the program under a contract with Energy Coordinating Agency and Catholic Charities, which operates weatherization projects across the entire state of Delaware.
