Community Solar Interconnection

The Interconnection Process Consists of the Following Steps:

1. Apply

Submitted application is reviewed for completeness.

2. Approval to Install

Technical screening is performed, followed by site visits and approval to install your facilities.

3. Design & Construction

Delmarva Power conducts design engineering and construction activities for the interconnection of your facility.

4. Install

System installed by Developers.
System should not be installed prior to receiving Approval to Install letter.

5. Inspect

System is inspected by customer and DPL.

6. Authorization to Operate

Subscriber is issued an Authorization to Operate letter.
(System should not be turned on until ATO is received.)
