The number of electric vehicle (EV) drivers is growing, and 75% of all EVs are charged at home. When it comes to the workplace, more employees are looking for EV charging as an additional work perk to increase job satisfaction and help ease range anxiety for their commute. Furthermore, as fuel prices rise and emission standards continue to get tighter, businesses could benefit financially by investing in fleet electrification to reduce their bottom line.
Delmarva Power offers a 50% rebate on the cost of equipment, warranty and installation for eligible Level 2 chargers. Commercial businesses and nonprofits can receive up to $5,000 per L2 charging port, limited to a maximum of $30,000 in rebates* for each of their properties.
You may also receive additional savings through state and federal rebates and incentives. For more information, visit the DOE website or MEA website.
*Rebates are limited and available while approved program funds last (up to a total of approximately 25 fleet or workplace locations).
