Emergency Servi​ces Partnership Program (ESPP)​

The P​HI companies of Atlantic City Electric, Delmarva Power and Pepco manage the Emergency Services Partnership Program to build relationships with key stakeholders including the police, fire and emergency management personnel who work side-by-side with our employees when disasters strike. 

The Emergency Services Partnership Program provides education to ensure first responders have the proper safety information to keep them, their teams, and the general public safe.  Programs include training for police, fire and public works personnel regarding electricity and natural gas, with representation from each stakeholder during emergency response drills and exercises.​

​Center for Energy Workforce Development (CEWD)​

The Center for Energy Workforce Development (CEWD) was formed to help utilities work together to find solutions for workforce shortages in the utility industry. It is the first partnership between utilities, their associations, contractors, and unions to focus on the need to build a skilled workforce pipeline that will meet future industry needs.

The CEWD is at the forefront of communicating the skills and knowledge necessary for current and future workers.  Additionally, CEWD partners with educators across the country to create scalable career pathways for energy jobs.

The Energy Providers Coalition for Education (EPCE)​​

The Energy Providers Coalition for Education (EPCE) offers up-to-date and relevant online energy programs that meet the emerging needs of the energy industry. EPCE’s programs are targeted specifically for careers in the energy industry and are designed for working adults pursuing more education while balancing work, family, and other person​al commitments.
