Delmarva and the Del-Mar-Va Council Boy Scouts of America’s longstanding partnership has helped to prepare young men and women to become healthy, happy, and prepared adults through a series of programs equipping young men and women with both the hard and soft skills required for STEM-based careers. The Del-Mar-Va Council offers hard skill courses in everything from robotics to environmental sustainability to aviation, and will instill leadership skills like being trustworthy, kind and brave to over 2,600 youth learning about STEM through the Merit Badge program, and an additional 300+ high school students learning about STEM through the lens of healthcare and career-readiness, through our Exploring Program. This July, Del-Mar-Va Council Boy Scouts of America is kicking off their first ever “STEM-Botics Camp”, featuring a week of immersive STEM experiences for youth age 11-18.
