Delmarva and the American Red Cross have a long-standing partnership that provides immediate disaster relief, 24 hours a day, to those devastated by disasters. Delmarva Power has donated $5,000 to the American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula to help area residents who have had homes or property damaged by rainstorms or flooding.
Delmarva is proud to lead a smart city initiative that has modernized city neighbors with new LED streetlights and smart city technology making commuters and pedestrians safer. Smart city technology and smart street lighting present a tremendous opportunity for us to collaborate with municipal partners to transform community services and improve quality of life.
Delmarva continues its support of the United Way, through a fundraising campaign that raised more than $995,000. United Way provides funds to more than 30 member agencies which in turn help provide a multitude of services including health care to senior citizens and safe after school programs to kids; emergency assistance to members of our Armed Forces and support for Special Olympians.
