Delmarva Power Encourages Customers to Give the Gift of Energy

Newark,Del. (December 6, 2016) - The holiday season is here and you can help your fellow Delmarva Power customers by giving the Gift of Energy. Delmarva Power customers may select dollar amount to give to someone special toward their electric bill to make their home truly joyful and bright for the holidays.

"Cold weather and increased heater usage can lead to high bills, which can make it difficult for some customers to keep their energy accounts up to date," said Gary Stockbridge, Delmarva Power region president. "The Gift of Energy program provides a way to help those customers pay their energy bills and stay warm this winter."

How to provide the Gift of Energy:

  • Visit, and submit a Gift of Energy form
  • The Gift of Energy can also be purchased in person at the following Customer Service Centers:
    • Wilmington Customer Service Center: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, 630 Martin Luther King Blvd.
    • New Castle Regional Office: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, I-95 at Route 273 in Newark
    • Millsboro Customer Service Center: 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, 700 E. DuPont Highway (Route 113)
  • Through Jan. 15, 2017, participants will receive a holiday greeting card to give to Gift of Energy recipients, compliments of Delmarva Power;
  • Gift of Energy payments can be made via check or by using a credit/debit card.
