ST. MICHAELS, Md. - Delmarva Power crews will de-energize the company's Bozman substation near St. Michaels, Md., for two to three hours, starting at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, in order to make repairs to a transmission line. This will result in a power outage for Delmarva Power customers in McDaniel, Wittman, Sherwood and on Tilghman Island, as well as Choptank Electric Cooperative customers in St. Michaels and Royal Oak.
"We apologize for any inconvenience while repair work is under way," said John Allen, Delmarva Power region vice president. "We will restore power to the affected customers as quickly and as safely as possible."
