Company-sponsored Presentations Reached Thousands in 2010
NEWARK , Del. - Delmarva Power is reminding customers that its Speakers Bureau program provides the public with a broad range of energy-related information, keeping thousands of customers up-to-date on various topics such as low-income energy assistance, energy conservation, renewable energy solutions and electrical safety.
"We know our customers have questions and concerns on a variety of energy issues," said Glenn Moore, Delmarva Power Region Vice President. "The company's Speakers Bureau program is a grassroots effort to educate our customers on energy-related issues as well as respond to their specific question or concern."
Delmarva Power's Speakers Bureau Program visits civic clubs and organizations, schools and community groups throughout its service territory, which encompasses a significant portion of Delaware and eastern shore Maryland.
