NEWARK, DE - As part of Pepco Holdings, Inc.'s (PHI) Supplier Diversity program, Delmarva Power is hosting a Veteran's Only Business Seminar on Monday, May 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event takes place at the Delmarva Power Conference Center, 4100 Wakefield Drive in Newark. PHI is Delmarva Power's parent company.
The free seminar will focus on federal contracting opportunities, business benefits and financial information to help veterans further enhance their entrepreneurship.
U.S. Senator Tom Carper and Scott F. Denniston, Director, Veterans Affairs Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, are among the seminar's featured speakers.
The conference is a Delaware Small Business Development Center's (DSBDC) Procurement and Technical Assistance event. The DSBDC helps Delaware entrepreneurs grow and manage their small businesses through varied programs, training and services.
