NEWARK, DE. - Each year Delmarva Power representatives spend hundreds of hours with customers discussing the importance of electrical safety, energy conservation, investing in clean energy and a variety of other energy topics of interest.
"Some of the most valuable time we spend is talking with customers," said Glenn Moore, vice-president, Delmarva Power Region. "We're fortunate that our Speakers Bureau is so well-received."
The company's Speakers Bureau Program visits civic clubs and organizations, schools and community groups throughout its service territory. The program's purpose is to share information with Delmarva Power customers on a variety of subjects, such as electrical safety and energy conservation. Delmarva Power has nearly 500,000 electric customers in Delaware and along the eastern shore of Maryland and more than 118,000 natural gas customers in northern New Castle County, Delaware.
If your community group or civic association would like to learn more about Delmarva Power's efforts to stabilize electricity rates, invest in reliability and help keep you and your family safe from electrical and/or natural gas hazards, please contact the company's Speakers Bureau Program at 800-355-0368 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
