Delmarva Power, Pepco To Host Annual Low-Income Energy Assistance Summit
WHAT: Delmarva Power and its sister utility Pepco will join forces with social service agency representatives across the Mid-Atlantic region to discuss winter energy issues affecting low-income households.
WHEN: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12
WHERE: Sheraton Dover Hotel, 1570 North DuPont Highway, Dover, Del.
A variety of topics impacting the region’s lower income households who struggle to pay their utility bill will be discussed, including:
- New technologies aimed at helping customers reduce their energy bill;
- 2011-2012 LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) funding; and
- Upcoming challenges for low-income households during this winter heating season presented by Keynote Speaker National Fuel Funds Executive Director George Coling
