Wednesday, November 11, 2009
NEWARK, Del. – An economic downturn can give rise to the need to help those who are struggling to pay their energy bills, which is why Delmarva Power encourages consumers to give the gift of energy this holiday season.
“We’re very pleased to offer a gift that is sure to brighten anyone’s life – the gift of energy,” said Gary Stockbridge, President, Delmarva Power Region. “During these tough economic times, in particular, it’s important to offer ways for people to help people in need.”
Gift of energy payments must be made in person, by check or credit card, at one of the company’s participating Delaware walk-in offices, where a customer service representative can assist with the purchase. The program launches today and runs through January 15, 2010.
