process Delmarva Power follows. Small generator technologies that qualify for
interconnection with our system include solar (photovoltaic or “PV”), wind,
hydro, a fuel cell, or gas from anaerobic digestion. The two-part interconnection
application process connects your
renewable generator system to the electric grid. This complex process takes
approximately 77 business days from when Delmarva Power receives your complete
application to when Delmarva Power issues your Authorization to Operate, including
the time during which your contractor installs your solar array or other
renewable generating system.
