Delaware Electric Rate Increase
Phase In - Outdoor Lighting
Under the phase-in plan, your total bill will increase relative to your current bill as follows:
- Step 1: 15% on May 1, 2006;
- Step 2: 25% on January 1, 2007;
- Step 3: 19% on June 1, 2007, assuming no further increase in wholesale prices;
- Step 4: Customers will begin to pay back the amount deferred (a total of approximately $225) beginning January 1, 2008 through June 1, 2009. This balance will be spread and billed equally during these 17 months (approximately $13 a month). All figures are for a typical customer in this rate class.
