Mid-Atlantic Power Pathway

Building For Our Energy Future

It has been 25 years since the last major new interstate electricity transmission line was built in the Mid-Atlantic region. During this time, the region’s population has grown significantly along with the demand for electricity. When supplies do not keep pace with demand, it can result in higher energy prices and, worse yet, an energy crisis.

Part of the solution to the crisis is greater energy efficiency. Another part of the solution is improved infrastructure to deliver electricity to consumers. Simply put, we need more transmission lines to ensure that people have the electricity they need to power their homes, businesses, schools and communities.

Our solution is the Mid-Atlantic Power Pathway.
