Delaware Green Energy Program - The Delaware Energy Office in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control administers the Green Energy Program, which is available only to Delmarva Power customers.
Delaware Weatherization Program - Installs energy efficiency improvements in the homes of low-income households to reduce their energy costs and improve health and safety in the home.
Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has consumer information about the installation of solar arrays. The FTC’s article,
Solar Power for Your Home may be useful. Note in the conclusion it states “If you think a company’s product doesn’t live up to the advertising, you can
file a complaint with the FTC and your state consumer protection agency." For Delaware, that agency is the
Delaware Department of Justice.
